Place: The Lions Den, in the fictitious town of Cushing, OK. A meeting place for the Cushing Lion’s Club. There is a raised dais for presentations and tables for dinners. Off one end of this shotgun storefront is a kitchen. Off the other end is the front
Note: Cushing, OK, is a real place. And is home to a pipeline hub. And Cushing experienced an event similar to an event in this play. And Cushing used to have a Lion’s Den. But that is where the similarities end. The Cushing in this play is fictitious. The real Cushing has an Escott’s Buy Rite and a Walmart Supercenter. This fictitious Cushing has an A & P and a Food Lion. Completely different places, different worlds.
