American Theatre Company Names Meghan Hurley as New Executive Director

Tulsa, OK — American Theatre Company’s Board of Directors announced today that Meghan Hurley will serve as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective immediately. Hurley served as the Artistic Director of Theatre Pops until the organization merged with American Theatre Company on June 1st.

“We are happy to have Meghan on board,” said ATC Board President Jerry Nutt. “This will make American Theatre Company a stronger organization for future shows and will ensure we continue to raise the bar on the quality of theatre in Tulsa.”

“It is an honor to serve American Theatre Company as its new Executive Director,” said Hurley. “I am happy to be working with the Board of Directors to expand ATC’s programs and reach to better serve Tulsa and our theatre community. I look forward to working with this incredibly talented, hard-working team for many years to come.”

American Theatre Company’s 49th season opens with Shakespeare in Love running August 3-12, 2018 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center in the newly remodeled Liddy Doenges Theatre. On August 11th, ATC will also host its annual fundraiser, Legends of Hollywood, at the Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa.
